He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, and Miami Marlins. He also played for the Hankyu Braves of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
