Charlie Sheen was born on September 3, 1965, in the City of New York, United States. His parents are actor Ramon Estevez also known as Martin Sheen and artist Janet Templeton.

He has two older brothers named Emilio, Ramon, and a younger sister named Renee, and all of them are actors.

Charlie had his education in Santa Monica High School, California, together with one of the now-famous actors Robert Downey, Jr. Charlie was also active in his school life where he played as a star pitcher and shortstop in their high school baseball team.
