Early Life:
On April 4 1983, Eric André was born to Natalie André and Pierre André in Boca Raton, Florida. His mother was an American Ashkenazi Jewish from the Upper West Side of New York City’s Manhattan borough and his father was an Afro-Haitian immigrant who worked as a psychiatrist.
He once shared that he identifies himself as both Black and Jewish, given his parents were the same. In 2001, he went to the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating from the Dreyfoos School, he went to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, for further studies.
