KONOSUBA SEASON 3: WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE?

Konosuba is an isekai anime based on the Natsume Akatsuki light novel series. It is set in a fantasy world where the protagonist re-incarnates after his untimely and embarrassing death. The anime series features Kazuma and the goddess Aqua, who is sent into the alternate world with him. He later meets his other friends, a magician, and a challenger in the world.

Konosuba has become so popular over the years. With the popularity it enjoyed among anime fans, a second season was sure to follow as we saw one year after the first season.

WHAT IS THE PLOTLINE OF KONOSUBA?

The protagonist, Satou Kazuma, is an introverted game, anime, and light novel addict who dies due to a motor accident. He then wakes up in a strange place to find a beautiful but strange girl right in front of him. The girl named Aqua introduced herself to Kazuma as a goddess that guides humans to the afterlife. Aqua then asked Kazuma if he wanted to be re-incarnated in a fantasy world with the opportunity to take one thing with him. Kazuma replies after analyzing what he would need to survive in the alternate world of magic and picked the goddess to join him. Aqua is then thrown into the new alternate world with Kazuma where they set out to defeat the demon king.

Soon, two members join them, one named Megumin, a user of explosion magic, and the other named Darkness, a masochist crusader. Kazuma soon realizes that his team members are weird, so he gives up on his adventure of defeating the demon king but settles to live a life of luxury. However, Kazuma does not end up enjoying luxury but finds himself thrown into one adventure after another.

WILL THERE BE A SEASON 3 OF KONOSUBA?

On July 18th, 2021, we got news of a new project in the works, so we believe there will be season 3 of the anime. The details concerning the anime project are still unclear.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF THE LIGHT NOVEL (THE MAIN SOURCE MATERIAL)?

Konosuba anime series is an adaptation of a light novel. The Konosuba series was published as a light novel before the manga adaptation. The publication of the series was started in 2013 by Kadokawa. Yen Press published the English version.

There’s still enough content from the source materials to make new seasons. The source material is 17-volume series.

The first and second seasons of the anime series only covered volumes 1-2 and 3-4, respectively.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SMARTPHONE GAME AND THE SEASON 3

The series got a smartphone game in February 2020, which was released globally in 2021. With this game, the producers will want to delay the release of a new season. They won’t release a new season so as not to take the attention of fans away from the game.

The disc sales of the konosuba series are well above average, so we can expect the series to get a third season. The series is also popular on Twitter and has over 320k followers. The anime ranked in the top 50 of Myanimelist popularity ranking.

STUDIO DEEN

The studio responsible for producing the anime series is Studio Deen. Konosuba is the studio’s biggest anime series, so we expect them to be enthusiastic about making the third season.

WHEN IS THE SEASON 3 OF KONOSUBA?

We expect a new project from the anime series, but we cannot say if it will be a third season or something else. We could be getting a third season in the summer of 2022.

WHAT IS THE POSSIBLE PLOTLINE FOR SEASON 3?

We expect some new characters in the third season of Konosuba.

Sylvia is an executive officer in the demon king’s army. Sylvia is an influential character who is in charge of the Enhanced Monster Development Bureau of the demon king army. Sylvia is a very powerful synthetic chimera. We will also see Princess Iris of the Kingdom of Berzerk.

WHAT MAKES STAND OUT?

Konosuba is a very fun-filled anime series with some crazy and interesting characters. The characters are so memorable. One interesting thing to look at is how at the beginning of the series, Aqua was making fun of Kazuma for the way he died.
