About Maid Sama Series:
Kaichou Wa Maid Sama is a television anime series in the romcom genre. It shows a series of episodes that have more elements than just romance and comedy. With the other similar productions like Toradora and Inuyasha, Maid Sama reigns on the list. So, what makes the Maid Sama series so unique than its adversaries? Well, this series doesn’t draw the consequences of pleasing its fans. So, the portrays are realistic without any over fanciness. The main character in this television series is a high school teen girl. Instead of portraying her as a funky teen, the animators focused more on her simplicity.
Maid Sama Storyline:
The storyline portrays a girl named Ayuzawa Misaki, a student pursuing her studies at a boy’s school. The name of his institution is Seiki High, who started educating female pupils too. However, the boys of Seiki High, are known from their notoriousness. Among the students, Mistake was given the job of the first girl president of Seiki High. Being a dedicated and sincere pupil, she aimed to restore the lost glory of the school. Seeing the condition of the school, she decided to make the rules strict.
Due to this decision, the boys of her school didn’t like her, and called her “Demon President.” But, she a figure of inspiration for the girl’s students, and a ray of hope for the staff members. Not only at school, but she had a reputation of being strict and creative in her personal life too. To make her ends meet, she works as a part-time maid at a nearby café. Due to the polarity of her tasks, she thinks that her secret will be out, and reputation vanished.
Her fears turn true until one day she met Usui Takumi outside the café. Takumi was unique in the same school. Takumi knew her secret, as she met him when she was wearing the maid dress. Well, things didn’t turn as she expected them to be. Takumi keeps her secret all to himself and starts getting close to her. Then their life takes a different turn, and the story turns to be romantic.
About the main Characters:
1. Ayuzawa Misaki
As mentioned above Misaki is the main character of the plot. She had hatred in her heart for all men is her father left her sister and mother. Due to this severe mental trauma paste at a childhood she things all men to be the same. The main reason behind Misaki being a maid is due to the huge debt her father made. She is strong and agile and has mastered Aikido, Japanese martial art.
She studies in a school where the majority of the students are boys. Left with no choice, her financial condition limits her affordability. Moreover, she had to face a mental war within herself for being more polite at the café. Due to this dilemma, she often has unexpected mood swings.
2. Takumi Usui
Takumi Usui is a male student at Seiki High, who is different from other boy pupils. Due to his handsome appearance, Usui is a very popular personality at school. The boy is talented in many aspects but never implements his thoughts on a single subject. Takumi is conscious of the events happening in his surroundings, and he prefers observing than active participation. After his encounter with Misaki, he falls in love with her. But, Misaki thinks Takumi to be a playboy, as she thinks the same about other boys. He knows about her feelings towards him, but he remains neutral. Out of his love, Takumi delivers some free advice on how to control the boys of her school. She gives it a try, and find the advice to work for her.
Maid Sama Season 7 release date
The season one of the maid Sama series was released on 2nd April 2010. However, the team completed the storyline on 24th September the same year. The first season had two additional episodes than the conventional format. It was so successful that the fans started filing a petition, and the show was on public demand. As mentioned above Maid Sama does not rely on fan reviews. The producers didn’t announce an official date of release but you can expect it to release soon.
Maid Sama English Dub:
The Maid Sama series is being dubbed in English on several streaming platforms. You can easily find the dubbed version of the first season on Hulu.
