WHAT HAS HAPPENED SO FAR IN THE SERIES, AND WHAT CAN WE EXPECT?
The story begins following the young man Geu-ru standing in front of a giant fishbowl. He stood in front of the fishbowl talking to the fish. He was telling the fish about his diseases as well as the features of each according to his observations.
Geu-ru lives with his father Jeong-u and works with him at their family-owned trauma cleaning company, Move to Heaven. They clean the place people died, which may seem like cleaning a crime scene, and honor the deceased with speeches.
The drama in this series takes shape after Jeong-u dies. Geu-ru meets his uncle, an ex-convict and they begin working together after his father’s funeral. Geu-ru and his uncle, Sang-gu started a business where they revealed untold stories about people after their death. Sang-gu was also dealing with his painful past with Jeong-u and the unfortunate incident that led him to jail.
We also saw Geu-ru’s best friend, a girl named Yoon Na-mu, who secretly joins him to run his family business, Move to Heaven.
WILL THERE BE A SEASON 2 OF THIS DRAMA SERIES?
Many Korean dramas always end up having just one season. However, we saw in the final episode of the first season some events that can lead to more conflicts in the series. We see that Joo Young managed to escape from the law enforcement agencies. We expect that he would want to get his revenge considering the fall of the empire. We also learned that Na-mu has a crush on Geu-ru, which may lead to more suspense in this drama series.
Although Netflix has not revealed any plans to make season 2, we expect a lot more to unfold considering the way the first season ended.
The writer of the series, Yoon Ji Ryeon revealed in a recent interview the possibility of season 2. Although there’s no certainty yet for the second season of the series, Yoon has promised to introduce a better episode for the new season.
WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR THE SECOND SECOND OF MOVE TO HEAVEN?
If an announcement eventually comes for the renewal of the series, we can expect the second season to drop in mid-2022. Stay tuned so you don’t miss any information concerning the second season.
