Early Life and Childhood
Earl Simmons or popularly known as DMX was born on the 18th of December 1970, in Mount Vernon, New York.
His mother Arnett Simmons, solely raised the young Earl by herself as his father wasn’t around throughout his childhood. This gave him a difficult time as his mother and her boyfriend used to constantly abuse him.
By fifth grade, he got kicked out of his school and got transferred to “Julia Dyckman Andrus Children’s Home” for a year.
