Plot:
The story of the series is set in the Northern Wei period (386-535 CE) which was full of violence and chaos. During this period, innocent citizens are kidnapped and then are converted to slaves very often. The slaves are often thrown into the forest so that they can become hunting targets for the rich lords.
A Slavegirl named Chu Qiao fell victim to the same practice but was saved by the Prince of the Northern Yan, Prince Yan Xun, and Yuwen Yue. Later that incident, she is taken to the Yuwen Manor where she experiences their bloody struggle for power.
Finding herself and her younger sisters in an uncomfortable and dangerous situation, she decides to leave the place with her sisters as soon as possible but she is caught by Yuwen Yue and put under strict training to build a sense of companionship with Yan Xun.
During her journey, Chu Qiao meets a lot of people including the joyous Prince Yuan Song, the unruly Prince of Liang- Xiao Ce, and a princess working as a spy named Xiao Yu. The story continues as time passes as Yan Xun’s family is regarded as traitors and Chu Qiao loses trust in Yan Xun and plans to battle Yuwen Yue to stop him.

Lin Gengxin essayed the role of Yuwen Yue who is the heir of the Eyes of God and the Fourth young master of the Yuwen Manor. Shawn Dou essayed the role of Yan Xun who is the Prince of Northern Yan.
