Теrrеnсе Dаѕhоn Howard wаѕ born on Маrсh 11, 1969 in Сhісago, Іllіnоіѕ tо Аnіtа Ноwаrd аnd Туrоnе Ноwаrd. He grew up in Cleveland Ohio where he witnessed his abusive father stabbing someone to death while going towards a department store nearby. 

His father served eleven months in jail which later upon release, resulted in Terrence’s parents ‘ divorce leaving him in the care of his father. He owes his passion for acting to his great-grandmother, Minnie Gentry who also raised and taught him the ways of acting. Terrence studied chemical engineering at Brooklyn’s Pratt’s Institute but soon dropped out of school.

Terrence Howard first made his way to our screens when he was cast for an ABC miniseries titled The Jacksons: An American Dream. In 1995, he rose to stardom when he appeared in the film Mr. Holland’s Opus. Henceforth, he kept receiving offers for television guesting and movie roles which he accepted gladly.

He had also acted alongside Greg Sparks, James L. Avery Sr., and Miguel A. Nunez Jr in the late 1990’s hit television series titled Sparks. Terrence also stated in his interviews that before he accepts roles, he makes sure that it teaches him more about himself.

His latest casting happened in 2015 where he was given a role to portray as Lucious Lyon, a hip hop mogul fighting for his life in the television series titled Empire followed with guest appearances in the television series Wayward Pines.

Personal Life 

As a teenager, Terrence was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy and has said in his interviews that he cured it by shocking his face countless times.

Terrence was married to his first wife Lori McCommas for sixteen long years before they officially divorced in 2003. The couple has three children with two daughters named Aubrey and Heaven, and a son named Hunter. He remarried again to Michelle Ghent from 2010 to 2013. Currently, he is married to his third wife, Mira Pak whom they share two children named Qirin Love and Hero.

He also faced some legal issues over the course of his married life. His second wife, Michelle Ghent filed a case against him for owing $325,000 in unpaid spousal support which he claimed he was blackmailed. He also struggled in support of his first wife and kids.

Terrence was also arrested for assaulting a flight attendant and was filed with battery for harming, harassing, and stalking his first wife, McCommas. He also pleaded guilty for tax evasion several times.
